Multi-color stenciling printing is a Chinese traditional handwork dyeing craft, and it´s two thousand years old. But as time goes on, this handicraft is losing the vivosphere, and gradually being forgotten by the people. Thanks to the unique local wedding tradition, Tongxiang, a city at the north of Zhejiang Province, still keeps the antiquity handicraft. The process flows, technical points and artistic features have been investigated and analyzed through substantive document study, on-the-spot investigation, example analysis and together with the craft tests.
