This paper is an analysis of common breakdown and its causes about the domestic computerized flat knitting machine. The author has observed and analyzed the breakdown when flat knitting machine was working, summarized the common breakdown phenomenon, and sought for the crux. The reason is of multi-factors, and some of these factors can be avoided, but some breakdowns were caused by the insufficient of equipment. As a conclusion, the technology of domestic computerized flat knitting machine should be promoted, and the quality of components must be strengthened.
