Abstract: The paper first classifies different kinds of seamless technology and then analyzes the characteristics and latest development of some advanced seamless knitting machines currently available on the world market. Seamless circular knitting machine, now has bigger cylinder diameter, has extended applications from knitting underwear to outerwear. For electronic flat knitting machine, multi-bed machine that can knit fully-fashioned product with more complicated patterns has become a trend.
