Weft detector is one of the key components on air-jet loom and its performance is directly related to the smooth operation of the machine, the quality of the fabric and the consumption of materials. The article compares the properties and characteristics of various weft detectors, and based on production practice, puts forward some suggestions on how to develop stable and reliable weft detectors with independent intellectual property right.
