With the introduction to a high-density fabric spun with extra-fine yarn, the paper points out, the characteristic of air-jet weft insertion have decided that air-jet loom has high requirement on the quality of both weft and warp, and the quality requirement on weft is even higher than on warp. By weaving various varieties of extra-fine high-density fabric, the paper analyzes the causes of fabric faults on such fabric and introduces effective measures for controlling the faults.
