Graft copolymerization of acidified corn starches and vinyl acetate using self-made initiators was introduced and the reaction was proved and verified throughout SEM photographs. A sizing experiment on T/C(65 /35) blended yarn was carried out using the new size. The result proved better than using conventional sizes.
