Hand-drawing could add the artistic quality, personality and ethnic character to textile products. It is difficult to imitate, hence favorable for intellectual property protection. Hand-drawn style meets the demand of modern consumers for individuation and artistry of textile products. The author criticizes the practice of copying and imitation in textile product design and calls for increasing hand-drawn design instead of relying heavily on computer design.
