The paper introduces the progress made in the research of pressure comfort of garment and discusses the effect of wearing pressure on human body and movement efficiency and its function for hyperplastic scar treatment after burning. It is suggested that when designing a garment, one should first determine the pressure and fabric elasticity by taking into account the required functions, the occasions for wearing the garment and the pressure distribution on different parts of the body, so as to achieve perfect combination of rational comfort with effective function.
