The article discusses how to inherit Chinese traditional costume culture from three aspects: “making best use of advantages while bypassing disadvantages and highlighting harmony and coordination”; “introducing advanced western culture and technology”; and “sticking to the principle of‘let a hundred flowers blossom together’, which means to give equal chance to different arts and ideas and let different elements coexist”.
