Development status-quo of domestic flame-retartant viscose fiber was briefly introduced in this paper. Based on detailed analysis on morphology structure, mechanical property and combustion performance of several representative flame-retartant viscose fibers, the authors pointed out that improved halogen-free phosphorus flame retardant still play the most important role in viscose fibers’ flame retardant processing, and application of inorganic flame retardant and environment-friendly process, development of multi-functional product will be the developing tendency of flame-retartant viscose fiber.
