Compared with traditional dyeing process, spun-dyeing technology is an eco-friendly process, and has several advantages, such as uniformly dyeing, high color fastness, lowwaste water discharge, etc. Based on the introduction of the development of spun-dyed technology at home and abroad, as well as some relative fiber products, the authors of this article put forward that it is essential to develop high quality masterbatch and pigment for spun-dyeing process, as well as differential fibers like multi-functional fiber and fiber with rich colors.
