The development and application of several new fibers, especially some functional fibers,were introduced in this article, and the authors pointed out that it is essential to develop differential fibers and yarns, which is an important solution not only for meeting the customers’ demands, but also for optimizing product structure and increasing economic benefit of textile producers.
