Emerging the contradiction of rice and cotton on soil and the pressure of oil shortage, the development of regenerated cellulosic fiber has been an significant part for textile industry to develop circular economy. Aiming at providing some references for those regenerated cellulosic fiber manufacturers who are trying to get rid of the image of high consumption, high pollution and high emission, this special feature took viscose fiber as representative, and focused on discussing the sustainable development and cleaner production of this industry.
