The development status-quo of regenerated PET in developed countries was reviewed briefly, as well as the related law and regulations for application of regenerated PET products. In terms of the development history,basic situation, improvements on production capacity and output of regenerated fiber industry in China, the author introduced the production process and equipments of the industry. Furthermore, the current situation and measures on energy-saving, emission-reduction and cleaner production of the industry in China were also described.
