Abstract: COCOON is a manual texturing machine developed by Barmag AG on the basis of the value of innovation, economics and respect. This product is characterized by innovative, new components such as the ATT and godets, efficient texturing using, for example, higher speeds and respecting natural resources by saving energy. COCOON is expected to set new standards because it offers benefits both for DTY manufacturers and during further processing. COCOON opens up the possibility of changing manual texturing. The systematic exploitation of all technical benefits has resulted in a product that fulfills all market requirements. With the introduction of COCOON, the efficient and economic production of top-quality yarns is no longer possible only using automatic machines.
