Meta-aramid fiber belongs to the class of organic high temperature-resistant and fire-retardant fibers. It is one of the hi-tech fibers on the top list of future development plan. The article introduces the status-quo of meta-aramid fiber industry in China and puts forward some suggestions on solving existing problems.
