The article briefly introduced technology features of bicomponent fiber in terms of raw material, types as well as application, and focused on the status of composite spinning process on developing high-value bicomponent fibers. Based on the above, the author stated the utility of bicomponent fiber and its effect on the sustainablity of fiber industry.
