The article introduced the application status of technical fibers worldwide, and stated the development tendency of technical textiles in terms of polymeric nanofibers, biopolymer and application of renewable resources. Based on studying the current structure of technical fiber industry, the author explored the improvement possibility of China technical textile industry.
