In the past decade, the production technology of Bulked Continuous Filament (BCF) has made great progress which mainly focused on three aspects, which could be described as increase of production efficiency, improvement of products quality and reduction of output/investment cost ratio. This article briefly introduced some significant changes in BCF technology development course of recent years, and presented some views on the status of domestic BCF industry, as well as the gap to the world advanced levels.
