Abstract: With some key technologies successfully solved, one-step process for producing ITY of polyester POY/FDY has been the most important method so far, and also make it possible to be produced in meltdirect spinning equipment. After tackling the key technologies of products’ dyeing and finishing process, PET ITY is widely used in clothing and home textiles industry, especially in knitted textiles. This article has a detailed introduction of the development of PET ITY.
