Recently, high grade artificial turf is widely used in international games thanks to its excellent performance on stability, maintenance, sliding resistance, the grasslike surface, and so on. This article focuses on the technology development of artificial turf and the fiber, in terms of analyzing the usage and maintenance costs of both artificial turf and lawn, as well as the world market, the author presents that it is time for domestic artificial turf producers to speed up development to meet the strong market potential.
