The soaring price of cotton several months ago has boosted the price of viscose staple fiber, thus the development of this regenerated cellulose fiber industry, especially in China. However, the development of dissolving pulp for viscose fiber is not so fast, and this has been a bottleneck for several years. Development of several types of dissolving pulp has been introduced in this article, and on the basis of the specific conditions of China, some countermeasures and advices were also put forward.
