The developing trend of Air-jet spinning technology at home and abroad has been introduced, and the structural characteristics and applications of air-jet spun yarn have been also analyzed in this article. The author has pointed that air-jet spun yarn possesses some better properties than ring spun yarn as a result of the differences of spinning mechanism and yarn structure between the two kinds of yarns.
