Yarn spun with multi fibers such as in blend of Tencel, polyester and long-staple cotton features improved internal and appearance quality, while different fibers compliment each other, adding extra value to the product. The article introduces the spinning process for manufacturing high-count yarn in mix of fine-denier Tencel, polyester and long-staple cotton, i.e. first making Tencel, polyester and long-staple cotton slivers separately and then blending them on drawing frame. Key parameters for each step of the process and measures to be taken to ensure smooth operation are discussed.
