The article points out that the key to control the quality of cotton yarn for weaving high-grade shirting fabric is to control the quality of cotton, the quality of blending, the quality of semi-finished products and the quality difference of cotton yarn on different spindles. It states that establishing related standards for the quality control of cotton blending and mixing, semi-finished products and finished products will provide guarantee for reducing yarn defects on the surface of shirting fabric. It also analyzes the quality criteria for cotton yarn in different structures to be used for producing high-quality shirting fabric.
