This article presented the improvement of carding machine for six decades, especially development on carding elements, speed of complete machine, taker-in carding plate, stationery flat for cylinder, crosrol web cleaner and innovation of autoleveller, on-line detection, and so on. Finally, the author put forward some suggestions on further improvement of carding machine.
