Abstract: The “four-in-one” semi-worsted yarn is produced by blending four kinds of high-quality fibers – high-count mercerized wool, cool viscose fiber, silk and top-grade long-staple cotton, so as to make use of respective advantages. To produce an ideal “four-in-one” semi-worsted yarn, it is necessary to select the best blending ratio and spinning process and take the following technical measures: study and improve blending method, reduce fiber damage and tangling, solve the problem of static charge in spinning process as well as optimize and improve spinning process.
