This paper investigated the development of pearl fiber/Tencel^® blended yarn using siro spinning technology. To ensure the quality of the yarn, parameters involved in every process were optimized,proper equipment configuration was set and the processing speed was appropriately brought down to control the quality of the single yarn.Splicers were also carefully chosen according to the fiber characteristics of Tencel^® and Pearl fiber to guarantee the yarn quality.
