The mechanism of flyer-lead roving frames, along with the pros and cons of flyer-lead roving frames and bobbin-lead roving frames were introduced. Key technologies, solutions targeting flyer-lead roving frame weaknesses were elaborated. Rotation speed calculating formulas of the two types of roving frames were deduced upon which real machines were tested and compared.Performance of varied rotation speeds were also investigated for the benefit of equipment suppliers and spinning mills.
