Selection of spinning cots and aprons, together with the improvement of spinning technology were introduced in this paper. Correlations of some specified techniques including the selection of cots and aprons, high draft, high roller speed, new spinning equipment and fluid pressure control were also investigated. The fiber controlling function of spinning cots to upgrade the yarn quality could be well achieved throughout appropriate selection, effective coordination and system control.
