The paper introduces the goal and requirements of quality control in carding process. It puts forward some measures to be taken in terms of equipment maintenance, process management,equipment configuration, standard operating procedure and adjustment of temperature and humidity. Equipment maintenance lays the basis for ensuring quality consistency; process optimization is the means for enhancing quality; equipment configuration also offers a way to improve quality; specified operating procedure can reduce yarn faults, while environment control is closely related to production efficiency. Taking good control of all these factors can ensure carding machine to reach ultimate quality goal.
