Inkjet printing as a clean printing technology for textile has attracted more and more people’s attention. The current situation of the inkjet printing including of printing machine, inkjet printing ink and the method for improving the printing quality was introduced. The key technologies of the preparation of reactive ink, acid ink, disperse ink and pigment ink was illustrated. It is considered that the pigment ink is the most potential coloring agent in the inkjet printing for the future, and the ink which prepared with the polymer-encapsulated pigment is a better way to solve the fastness of the textile printed with pigmented ink.
