TRIZ theory has become an important means of technological innovation. This article described how to flexibly use it in textile research.The guidance of its meaning to textile research has also been expounded in this paper. The author elaborated how to solve various contradictions between design and technology in practical work by TRIZ theory. For the purpose of promoting the technological innovation and enhancing capacity of products development in textile industry, the author has actively suggested all the R&D persons in textile industry to study the TRIZ theory.
