--On Experiences of Medical Dressing Production Using Rotor Spinning Technology and Wide Width Air-jet Looms

The application of fine Count (Ne 32 ～ Ne 40) rotor spun cotton yarn in the production of medical dressing has been explored from cotton assorting process to the end product. Based on the comparison of yarn forming characteristics and economy economics between ring spun yarn and rotor spun yarn, the result is that rotor spun yarn is more suitable for the production of medical dressing. It is of great benefit for reducing cost, improving product grade and increasing profit to integrate spinning and weaving process and further bring about an effective and flexible industry chain.
