“Green barriers”are increasingly threatening the export from of Chinese textile and garment producers. The article introduces the natures, characteristics and forms of “green barriers”in the international textile trade and their influence on China’s textile and garment industry. It also analyzes the position of Chinese textile and garment enterprises in the current trade environment and their existing problems, and discusses relevant measures for tackling the“green barriers”.
