China’s status as a leading textile producer in the world is undebatable, however, it is far from a leading textile power. Although it owns the same technology as its competitors, it lacks of comparable brands. It can but become a world factory. If China wants to become a leading textile power, it should first set up own brands. How to set up the brands? The article gives some tips based on new theory of commodity value.
