This paper has analyzed the development and current situation of Chinese luxury goods market by using some examples and comparison between east and west based on probing into the definition and history of luxury goods.Meanwhile, it has pointed out the influence and function of luxury goods for Chinese popularity market which will provide valuable reference for researching and developing Chinese luxury goods market and Chinese national brands.
