To date global warming has been becoming the hotspot of international environmental problem, and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) are the main cause of global warming.Carbon footprint expresses the total greenhouse gas emissions of human in the production and consumption activities. The paper is based on "PAS 2050: 2008 - Specification for the assessment of the life cycle greenhouse gas emissions of goods and services" , combining with carbon footprint theory and Life Cycle Assessment, clarifys the necessity of textile carbon footprint label and has analyzed the current situation of textile carbon footprint label.
