China has the largest population in the world, and textile industry is the typical labor-intensive industry, so textile industry upgrading shouldn’t ignore employment. Based on the analysis of China’s textile industry upgrading and employment, the paper has built a conceptual model on industry upgrading and employment expanding, and put forward some countermeasures to realize benign interaction between industry upgrading and expand employment.
