According to statistics, in September 2019, China imported 150,000 tons of cotton yarn, down 16.7% year-on-year, unchanged from the previous month. Meanwhile China exported 25,000 tons of cotton yarn, with year-on-year decline of 18.75% and month-on-month decrease of 11.46%.

In the first three quarter, China accumulative total import of cotton yarn reached 1.48 million tons, down 8.07% over the same period last year; while the export of cotton yarn totaled 292,700 tons, declined by 7.06% year-on-year.
