China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd., the backbone of China National Machinery Industry Corporation Ltd (Sinomach), together with Shanghai Yarn Technology Co., Ltd., Shandong Huada Construction Group, etc., jointly established Lanzhou New District Intelligence Textile Industry Park Co., Ltd. with Lanzhou New District, investing CNY 3 billion to build an intelligent textile industrial park and planning to build a 100 billion-worth scale of textile industry cluster.

It is introduced that the Intelligent Textile Industrial Park project in Lanzhou New District has 5,000 mu (about 3.3 hectares) of total land area, including the construction of a spinning production area with 1 million spindles capacity in the first phase, covering 1125 mu; the total investment of the project is CNY 3 billion, of which the fixed-asset investment is CNY 2.3 billion. While introducing the spinning enterprises, the Intelligent Textile Industrial Park will simultaneously build "five centers and one platform", namely: testing center, information management center, technology center, property center, warehousing and logistics center, and yarn trading platform. The first phase of the project is scheduled to start in September 2019, and will be completed within 24 months from the date of construction.

The signing of the project will not only introduce the entire modern textile industrial system for Lanzhou New District, but also help build the ecological aggregation area of textile industry in Gansu Province.
