According to statistics, in March 2019, China imported 190,000 tons of cotton yarn, up 10.3% year-on-year, seeing a growth of 58% from the previous month. Meanwhile China exported 39,800 tons of cotton yarn, with year-on-year growth of 15.4% and month-on-month growth of 86.8%.

In the first three months of 2019, China accumulative total import of cotton yarn reached 470,000 tons, while the export of cotton yarn totaled 100,400 tons.
