According to the customs statistics, China imported 150,000 tons of cotton in March, seeing year-on-year rises of 39.7% and a decline of 34.8% from the previous month. From January to March 2019, China's cotton imports totaled 660,000 tons, growing by 92% year-on-year. From September 2018 to March 2019, China's cotton imports totaled 1.26 million tons, up 83.4% year-on-year.
