According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to September, the profit of China’s industrial enterprises above designated size totaled CNY 4.97 trillion, seeing a year-on-year rise of 14.7%, 1.5 percentage points lower compared with the first eight months. Thereinto, the profit of textile industry totaled CNY 92.58 billion, up 2.7% year-on-year; and the profit of garment and accessories industry reached CNY 69.71 billion, with year-on-year growth of 8.0%.

From January to September, the main business income of China’s industrial enterprises above designated size reached CNY 77.1 trillion, increased by 9.4% compared with the same period of the previous year; its main business cost was CNY 65 trillion, seeing a year-on-year rise of 9.1%; and the profit margin of main business income was 6.44%.
