According to China’s General Administration of Customs, in the first quarter of 2018, the domestic market of China’s textiles and apparel grew at a faster pace, while its export market rebounded continuously, and the exports of textile and apparel totaled US$ 59.18 billion, which volume and value both increased.

In the first quarter, the main business income of textile enterprises above designated size achieved CNY 1.37 trillion, seeing year-on-year rises of 3.1%; and the main business income of textile machinery industry, technical textiles industry and home textiles industry increased by 16.8%, 7.1%, and 7% year-on-year, respectively, which made great contribution to the growth of total revenue. And the China National Textile and Apparel Council predicted that, in 2018, the domestic demand of textile and garment industry will release vitality continually.
