At the end of 2017 a new subsidiary of the Terrot group started its operational business. During the ShanghaiTex SINO by Terrot launched its own, new knitting machine especially for the Chinese market. The SL-4 TC is a highly productive single jersey machine and offers the usual high quality by Terrot. The machine is made for knitted fabrics in the outerwear segment. Due to its sinkerless technology, the SL-4 TC offers several advantages: implementation of higher machine speeds with simultaneously reduced downtimes and maintenance operation on the knitting head, as well as improved knitting qualities.

The new company is a 100 % subsidiary of Terrot and was presented during ShanghaiTex 2017 for the first time. The international company Terrot has been successful in the Chinese market for years. In regards to the size of that market it was necessary to develop a special machine type with shorter delivery times and a moderate price-performance ratio. With the SL-4 TC Terrot serves an important future market and sets a further milestone for Terrot’s future.
