Statistics of the General Administration of Customs show that China imported 34.57 million meters of cotton fabric in July, down 35.41% from a year earlier and 7.28% from the previous month. Meanwhile, China exported 773 million meters of cotton fabric, up 10.53% year-on-year and 5.55% month-on-month. From September 2015 to July 2016, China’s import of cotton fabric totaled 424 million meters, down 24.54% year-on-year, while the export of cotton fabric totaled near 8.29 billion meters, up 11.20%.

In the first seven months of 2016, China import of cotton fabric totaled 240 million meters, down 31.37% year-on-year and the export of cotton fabric totaled about 5.23 billion meters, up 16.10%.
