According to related statistics, China's import and export of fabric totaled 19.34 billion meters in January-March of this year, up 1.5% year-on-year. The fabric trade amounted to US$ 26.36 billion, down 3.6% from a year earlier.

The export of fabric stood at 18.25 billion meters, up 2.6%. The export valued US$ 24.11 billion, down 2.4%. The average export price is US$1.32/kg, down 4.8%; the average import price stood at US$2.07/meter, down 2%.

The import of fabric stood at 1.09 billion meters, down 13.5%; the import amounted to US$ 2.25 billion, down 15.2%; the average import price is US$2.07/meter, down 2%.
