According to the General Administration of Customs, China's exports of textiles and garment amounted to near US$ 20.86 billion in April, up 23.78% month-on-month and 4.95% year-on-year. The export of textiles (including textile yarn, fabric and made-up goods) grew 2.95% year-on-year to US$ 9.66 billion, and that of garment (including accessories) rose 7.07% year-on-year to US$ 11.19 billion.

In January-April, China's exports of textiles and garment totaled US$ 77.5 billion, down 0.03% from a year earlier. The export of textiles edged down 0.01% to US$ 33.12 billion; and the export of garment dropped by 0.04% to US$ 44.38 billion.
