SPINEXPOTM is a professional trade exhibition dedicated to promoting innovation in yarns, fibres and knitwear. Our Shanghai-based exhibition has been an ongoing catalyst for the textile and fashion industry and continues to be a driving force in moving both suppliers and buyers forward, urging them to bring newness in design and innovative technical applications to the market.

Spinning mills
XINAO an innovative pilot enterprise Accredited as a Woolmark licensee, it is one of the world’s leading Merino suppliers, known for its dedicated commitment towards environmental issues.
The company boasts ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental systems, and has obtained a <Merinomark licence>. Xinao yarns are accredited Oeko-Tex standard 100 class1, and have received pure wool yarn and wool tops Eco-Label Certification. Xinao is one of the only Merino suppliers that has implemented the use of H2O2 instead of chlorine.
<Cashfeel> and <Newchuwa> are the two most representative brands. Xinao proposes yarns that have good air permeability, a super soft hand feel and are easy care, with color fastness. Their new yarn < Armour> is supported by DuPont’s latest Teflon technology in order to obtain water/stain/oil repellency.
Xinao offers three lines of products: yarns for knitwear, yarns for circular knitting and yarns for weaving. In addition, the company partners with Hong Kong and China based knitwear manufacturers and in particular Fenix and Aussco in Hong Kong.
Knitwear Manufacturers
FENIX Group was launched in 1972 as a supplier of Japanese yarns to Hong Kong based companies. By 1980 they integrated the knitwear trading and manufacturing activities with Japan as a core market. Then in 2000, Fenix further developed premium markets in Europe and the USA and became one of the market’s foremost suppliers of premium knitwear.
Fenix Fashion Ltd has since been sold to Li & Fung and is now independent from Fenix Group. The company remains faithful to its vision through its relentless pursuit of innovative designs and meticulous execution, catering to the high-end markets with men’s, women's and children’s fashion sweaters.
A team of talented designers proposes affordable and luxury collections every month, creating over 500 designs per season. Fenix is working with over 80 accounts globally with FOB prices ranging from USD 20/piece and up, with a minimum order of 800 pieces. Their lead time for a prototype is 14 to 20 days, sampling 20 to 30 days and production 40 to 60 days. They handle an array of techniques for sweater production including printing, washing, embroidery, needle punching and mixed media, from hand knit qualities up to 18 gauges. The style team has deep-rooted knowledge concerning various materials at different price ranges and has established close relationships with both Asian and overseas yarn mills.
Hong Kong is a leading place for knitwear collectioning and manufacturing. Most of the factories are now based in China, Vietnam, Bangladesh and many of the leading knitwear companies partner with European brands, bringing their expertise in design, fitting, yarn sourcing, technical know-how, and adequation between price level and creativity.
Most of the noble fibres originate in China, a country that has invested the most in the newest and most modern equipment, structured itself with strong R & D international teams and adjusted its production lines to offer more versatility in term of quantities and service.
